Opening                    : Software Developer

Location                   : Ashburn, VA (May be relocated to unanticipated sites around US)

Requirements         : Master of Science in computer science, information technology or related/equivalent + 1.5 yrs. exp. as a Java Developer or related

Responsibilities      : Write software programs using specific programming languages/platforms such as Java or MS .NET, and related tools, platform and environment. Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Perform unit testing Assist in system and user testing Fix errors and bugs that are identified in the course of testing

Responsibilities      : Complex Data Analysis, Profiling and Mining using PL/SQL. Engage in requirements gathering. Production support and SLA adherence. Produce Data warehousing. Provide Technical and functional thought leadership. Work as a bridge between business and development team. Write, clarify with business group, be involved in technical fixes and solutions. Responsibilities      : Define, design, construct, integrate, test and support software solutions addressing business opportunities. Analyze business process requirements, infrastructure plans, effort estimations, user needs, and systems requirements to create specifications for applications and determine feasibility. Code, prepare, test and implement matrices, POCs, RFPs, prototypes, programs, and data interfaces. Design interfaces with other applications and systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes. Assure that application designs are consistent with industry best practices and application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability and flexibility). Communicate high-level technical functions and requirements; decompose high-level information into details and document well-defined, testable acceptance criteria. Ensure code review and system testing are completed. Coordinate and confer with clients and stakeholders for integration testing, UAT, and project capabilities and requirements. Perform status tracking, reporting and business case creation. Modify existing software to correct errors and ensure its adaptation to new hardware or improve its performance. Deliver and deploy the test plan. Review test artifacts including test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for about capabilities and requirements. Coordinate, install, and monitor equipment functioning. Obtain and evaluate information on reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.

Enhance applications with respect to the user interface, the navigation and application's interaction framework. Code, prepare, test and implement matrices, POCs, RFPs, prototypes, programs, and data interfaces. Design interfaces with other applications and systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes. Assure that application designs are consistent with industry best practices and application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability and flexibility). Communicate high-level technical functions and requirements; decompose high-level information into details and document well-defined, testable acceptance criteria. Ensure code review and system testing are completed. Coordinate and confer with clients and stakeholders for integration testing, UAT, and project capabilities and requirements.
